Extend a partnership with eldercare ministries in China at the point of their urgent needs.
Ageism –discrimination against a person on the basis of their age–has serious consequences for older people and societies at large. This can take many forms, including prejudice, discrimination of various forms, or policies that keep false beliefs about aging persons alive. (World Health Organization) Ageism can stand in the way of societies and even churches as well as undermine the quality of health and social care that older people receive. TBHF is called to coach national leaders to develop, support and engage plans that call all believers to be champions of healthy aging.
Today the Wei Tang Church near North Korea is able to upgrade its eldercare facilities and remain open thanks to the generosity of The Baptist Home Foundation board.
